Meet Your Candidate for District 1 Board of Education
I have lived in Gwinnett County since 2004. My family and I live in the Dacula cluster. We have 3 sons educated by GCPS. I manage a Cyber Security team for a private company and maintain a successful, nearly 25-year law enforcement career.
Running for school board is merely an extension of a life dedicated to community service. Specifically:
- 20+ volunteer years serving on Dacula Athletic Association (DAA) Executive & Sport Board's. DAA provides youth and recreational opportunities to youth.
- Volunteer police officer for Snellville Police Department.
- Substitute Teacher for GCPS.
- Coach & Mentor for thousands of kids.
- PTA Board Member.
- Member of Dacula Dads.
My Roots
I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in a subdivision called “Bankstown USA”. It was my parents who instilled in me the quality and value of an education. It was my teachers who provided me with care and a quality education. It was community members and volunteers who supported me and provided direction through troubling times. I am where I am today because of all of them. It is my intent and my purpose to passionately serve as your District 1 Gwinnett County School Board Member
